Control Time

Activities that remind you that you are still in control of your life are a very important influence on successful slimming. Such activities are can be very personal and can involve routines, regular activities and pre eating ceremonies.

There are a number of organised activities, such as yoga, tai chi and pilates, that help you practice and reinforce your self-control. We encourage all clients to consider ‘self-control’ activities as part of their weight management plan, and find local classes which they can participate in at least once a week.

How this helps you lose weight: The emotional issues associated with feeling out of control can cause feelings of despair and depression, thus cause emotional eating. If you have failed in a diet then re-establishing your self-control is an important pre requisite to starting a new diet plan.
